The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called for measures to ensure shipping safety in the Black Sea against the backdrop of numerous drone attacks.

The report notes that the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed serious concern over attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea, despite all of Ankara’s warnings.
The statement from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs was issued following an incident in which a vessel owned by a Turkish company was attacked by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) near the port of Novorossiysk. As a result of the attack, three crew members were seriously injured.
It was previously reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the “Nadejda” vessel, which was transporting fruits and vegetables from the Turkish port of Samsun to Novorossiysk in the Black Sea. The incident occurred on August 3, at approximately 16:30, about 30 miles from the Russian port.
