The next meeting of the Economic Council was held today.
This was reported to elchi by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The agenda of the meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov, included a detailed discussion of the development of the oil and gas and petrochemical industries in Azerbaijan, including the modernization of oil refining and petrochemical infrastructure, future development prospects, and current economic issues.
A comprehensive report by SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf was heard regarding the agenda items. Members of the Economic Council and invited guests made speeches and expressed their proposals on the presented issue. Then, Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Investment Holding, Metin Eynullayev, made a speech on current issues.
At the end of the meeting, decisions were made and relevant instructions were given to Azerbaijan Investment Holding, SOCAR, and relevant authorities.
