The White House was dissatisfied with the first briefing of the new US President’s press secretary, Keti Zakharyan, and considered it possible that she could be fired soon.
“Elchi” reports, citing “MS Now” TV channel, that a representative of the American administration stated this.
“It is not easy to speak from behind the podium. But she started unsuccessfully. She needs to improve her work quickly and significantly, otherwise she will break Scaramucci’s record,” the TV channel’s interlocutor said.
The conversation is about Anthony Scaramucci, who was fired in July 2017, just 10 days after being appointed Director of Communications for the White House. Entoni Skaramuççi
Zakaryan’s first briefing lasted about 14 minutes. During this time, the opening statement took about eight minutes, and the press secretary answered questions from three journalists for about five minutes.
She explained the brevity of the briefing by Donald Trump’s schedule, who was preparing for a trip to Alaska. However, according to the TV channel, the president’s departure did not coincide with the briefing in terms of time.
Tramp himself did not criticize Zakaryan and told reporters that she had conducted her first briefing “very well”.
