Azerbaijan introduces visa-free regime for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Singapore starting today

In order to facilitate travel opportunities for citizens, strengthen cooperation between countries, and promote the development of tourism, the visa requirement for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Singapore holding ordinary passports to enter the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan for tourism purposes has been abolished from August 1, 2026, to August 1, 2027.

This was reported to “Elchi” by the State Migration Service.

It was stated that, according to the new rules, citizens of the mentioned countries can enter the Republic of Azerbaijan three times during the specified period and stay in the country for up to 30 days each time:

“Citizens of the listed countries who intend to come to the country for purposes other than tourism or to stay for a long term can come to Azerbaijan after obtaining the appropriate visa in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.”

We remind you that foreigners staying temporarily in the territory of Azerbaijan for more than 15 days must be registered at their place of stay in accordance with the requirements of the Migration Code. In addition, if there are grounds provided for by law, foreigners must apply to the State Migration Service physically through the “migration services” windows operating in “ASAN service” centers or electronically by visiting the “Electronic services” section of the Service’s official website to extend their temporary stay or obtain a temporary residence permit before their temporary stay in the country expires.
