It was noted that out of those admitted, 6,580 will study on a state-funded basis, 52 on a state-account basis, and 7,213 on a paid basis. 10,510 of them are current graduates of higher education institutions, and 3,335 are graduates of previous years: “For information, it should be noted that this year, compared to the previous year, the number of participants in the specialization selection was 166 people higher. According to the results of 2026, 13,845 (78.41%) of the 17,658 plan places allocated for the master’s level of higher education institutions have been filled. Last year, the corresponding figure was 16,848 plan places and 79.81%. As can be seen, there were more plan places (810 places) this year as well.
In general, it was known in advance that a certain part of the plan places would remain vacant. This is because while the number of bachelors choosing a specialization was 15,721, the number of plan places was 17,658.”
It was stated that in 2026, the number of participants in the specialization selection increased by 166 people compared to the previous year, reaching 15,721. The number of admitted students increased by 399 people to 13,845. The number of those admitted on a free basis (SF+SA) increased by 834 people to 6,632. The admission plan increased by 810 places, amounting to 17,658. Along with this, the admission rate decreased by 1.4 percent, falling from 79.81% in 2025 to 78.41% in 2026.
