The Jordanian army announced that 5 missiles fired from Iran were shot down by air defense systems.
“Elchi” reports that, according to Jordan’s official news agency PETRA, the Jordanian army stated that its air defense systems detected and shot down 5 Iranian-origin missiles targeting the country’s territory in the morning hours.
The report noted that there were no casualties or damage as a result of the attack.
It was stated that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to protect the country’s airspace, its people, and its security, and remain in a state of high readiness against all kinds of threats.
While the US continues its attacks on Iran, Iran claims that it is targeting US military bases in countries in the region in retaliation.
