Amendments will be made to some laws in connection with the amendment to the Law “On Road Traffic”.
“Elchi” reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree in this regard.
According to the document, the Ministry of Justice, in coordination with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank, and other relevant state bodies (state legal entities) to be determined during the implementation process, must submit its proposals regarding the harmonization of the Cabinet of Ministers’ normative legal acts with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 439-VIIQD dated July 10, 2026, “On amendments to some laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 307-VIIQD dated December 9, 2025, “On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Road Traffic”” to the Cabinet of Ministers within five months.
Central executive authorities, no later than four months, in order to ensure the implementation of the law, must take measures arising from their rule-making duties within their powers, submit their normative legal acts or information about the absence of proposals to the Ministry of Justice, and inform the Cabinet of Ministers when the implementation status requires it.
