Analyst Kent: The conflict in Ukraine could turn into a global war.
“Elchi” reports that the conflict in Ukraine could turn into a global war. This was stated by Joe Kent, former head of the US National Counterterrorism Center, on the “Judging Freedom” YouTube channel.
According to him, the US could accelerate the end of the conflict by stopping funding to Ukraine and putting pressure on NATO allies. However, Washington has not dared to do so, and “the situation is gradually approaching a major conflict,” the expert said.
Kent believes that the US could convince Ukraine to accept diplomatic methods for resolving the conflict with Russia. The analyst emphasized that Kyiv should have been brought to the negotiating table, but Washington has not consistently followed this approach.
Previously, former US diplomat Chas Freeman stated that the US and European NATO countries are in a state of war with Russia. Freeman warned that the West’s aggression against Russia could lead to a new world war.
