Since the establishment of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in 2020, 913 children have been successfully returned to their families from social service institutions as a result of reintegration measures implemented by the agency.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, family development plans reflecting social support measures for families are prepared during the process of returning children to family care.
It was stated that based on this plan, support is provided to strengthen families in relevant areas.
“After children are returned to family care, monitoring is carried out to study their general situation within the family.
In order to prevent children from being deprived of parental care, the Agency also carries out social-psychological support and awareness-raising activities. During the past period, the placement of 1019 children into institutions by their families has been prevented,” the statement noted.
