An “open door day” event was held at Fire Protection Unit No. 25 of the Ganja City Fire Protection Department, organized by the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“Elchi” reports that the purpose of the event, attended by children and teachers from the “Mini Bees” kindergarten, was to contribute to the comprehensive development of children, their physical and moral well-being, the formation of a culture of safe life activity, as well as basic fire safety knowledge, and to increase awareness about the professional activities of firefighters.
During the “open door day” event, participants were provided with detailed information about the daily routine of firefighters and the activities of the unit; methods of using primary fire extinguishing equipment and parts of the staff’s daily training exercises were demonstrated to them.
Additionally, the children became closely acquainted with the necessary fire extinguishing and other rescue equipment used during emergencies and were informed about safe behavior rules during emergency situations.
Questions of interest to the children were also answered during the event.
