Deadly salmonella suspicion in eggs! Tons of products recalled

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced the recall of millions of eggs due to the possibility of salmonella contamination.
“Elchi” reports that, according to a written statement by the FDA, the food company Midwest Poultry Services detected the salmonella enteritidis bacterium at two farms operating in Texas.
Following the detection of the bacteria, the company halted the distribution of eggs produced at the Texas farms and issued a warning through the FDA.
The company recalled approximately 1.6 million dozen white and brown eggs distributed from the Texas farms between June 6 and July 3 due to the possibility of contamination.
No cases of illness reported so far
The eggs were distributed to buyers in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, and were also sold at retail outlets in Arkansas, New Mexico, and Mississippi, but no cases of illness have been reported so far.
Symptoms of a salmonella outbreak include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. While symptoms usually disappear within a few days, they can be life-threatening, especially in young children and those with weakened immune systems.
