Within the framework of the official visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaydi and his accompanying delegation to Tehran, 4 cooperation documents were signed in the presence of the leaders of the two countries.
“Elchi” reports that IRNA has provided information regarding this.
“An agreement on road transport for cargo, a memorandum of understanding on the construction of the Khosravi–Khanaqin–Baghdad railway, a memorandum of understanding on the twinning of the cities of Tehran and Baghdad, as well as an agreement in the fields of public administration, education, and human resources have been signed,” the report stated.
The documents were signed by officials of the two countries at the Saadabad Palace in the presence of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaydi.
It should be recalled that in a meeting with the Iraqi ambassador to Iran, Pezeshkian emphasized that no factor can damage the relations between these two countries.
