A 6.2 magnitude earthquake has occurred in the southern Philippines.

It was noted that the earthquake’s epicenter was at a depth of 68 km. The epicenter was located 87 km south of General Santos, a city with a population of approximately 679,000, and 34 km west-southwest of the Sarangani municipality.
