The State Labor Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has held further awareness-raising events on labor protection in the territories liberated from occupation.
“Elchi” reports that 690 people, consisting of representatives of employers and employees from 62 enterprises in Aghdam, Aghdara, and Khojavend districts, participated in 18 events.
The events were attended by employees of the Service, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, and the State Employment Agency under the Ministry.
Participants were informed about the requirements of legislation regarding labor protection and the provision of healthy and safe working conditions in workplaces. The application of new state standards in this field and the procedures for conducting workplace certification were discussed. The fundamental principles of mine safety and ways to prevent potential risks were highlighted.
Memory booklets, brochures, and other informative materials on relevant topics were provided to the participants, and their questions were answered.
