Azerbaijani citizens Valeh Hummatov and Rashad Ibrahimov were among the crew of the ferry that sank off the coast of Northern Cyprus.
“Elchi” reports that the head of the Azerbaijan-Cyprus Friendship Society, Orhan Hasanoglu, announced this to AZERTAC.
“Both have been rescued,” he stated.
After receiving initial medical treatment, the Azerbaijani citizens were discharged from the hospital: “There is no danger to their health.”
It should be recalled that as a result of the sinking of a passenger ship off the coast of the city of Kyrenia in Northern Cyprus, 7 people died and 237 people were rescued.
