The State Examination Center (SEC) will hold the entrance exam (second attempt) for higher education institutions for the I and IV specialty groups today. Today, an exam (second attempt) in the subject of geography will also be organized for those who have chosen both the DT and TC subgroups of the III specialty group.
“Elchi” reports, citing the SEC, that the exams will be organized in Baku, Khankendi, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shamkir, Aghstafa, Gazakh, Sumgayit, Absheron, Shamakhi, Mingachevir, Sheki, Zagatala, Barda, Goychay, Ujar, Kurdamir, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Salyan, Lankaran, Jalilabad, Guba, and Khachmaz.
The exam will start at 10:00. The entry regime will end at 09:45, and participants arriving after this time will not be admitted to the exam building.
To ensure that participants enter the exam building comfortably, different arrival times have been set for the building, and this time is indicated on the admission ticket. Therefore, it is recommended to arrive at the exam building at the time indicated on the admission ticket.
Applicants must bring the following documents to the exam:
– Exam admission ticket;
– Original identity document.
a) Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including participants under 16 years of age) must bring their identity card;
b) Foreigners and stateless persons must bring residence permits issued by the State Migration Service, and foreign citizens who have received refugee status and their family members must bring refugee cards;
– Participants who do not have a photo on their identity card must bring, along with other documents, a certificate issued by the educational institution with a photo attached (a 3×4 cm photo of the participant is attached to the certificate and stamped).
A total of 153 exam buildings and 2,658 exam halls have been allocated in the cities and districts where the exams are held. 153 general exam supervisors, 429 exam supervisors, 3,304 invigilators, 482 entry regime staff, and 153 building representatives have been involved in managing the exams.
In today’s exam, it is expected that a total of 36,356 applicants will participate, including 24,997 for the I specialty group, 5,302 for the IV specialty group, and 6,057 for the geography exam for those who chose both the DT and TC subgroups of the III specialty group.
65 applicants with limited health capacities (visually impaired, cerebral palsy, hearing impaired, etc.) will also participate in the exam. Special halls have been allocated for them to take the exam comfortably, and individual invigilators have been assigned to persons whose visual impairment is determined by an 81-100 percent impairment of body functions. Conditions have also been created for applicants with limited mobility to enter and move within the building and hall. In addition, special training has been conducted with the invigilators assigned to participants with limited health capacities.
