The new head coach of the Portugal national football team has been revealed.
“Elchi” reports that the official website of the Portuguese Football Federation has released information regarding this matter.
According to the report, Jorge Jesus has been appointed to this position. The 71-year-old Portuguese specialist has replaced Roberto Martinez at the helm of the team.
He will lead the national team until the end of the 2030 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by Portugal, Spain, and Morocco.
It should be recalled that the Portugal national team was eliminated from the 2026 World Cup after losing 0-1 to Spain in the Round of 16. Roberto Martinez resigned following that match.
