Novak: Russia has banned the export of diesel fuel

The Russian authorities have imposed a ban on the export of diesel fuel in order to increase the volume of supply to the domestic market.

“Elchi” reports, citing Russian media, that Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak announced this during a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and members of the government.

“Today, a ban on the export of diesel fuel was imposed, and this will allow for an increase in supply to the domestic market,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

According to Novak, the decision taken will allow for securing additional volumes of diesel fuel for domestic consumption and stabilizing the situation in the Russian market.
