Marine Le Pen, leader of the parliamentary faction of the right-wing National Rally party, has formally gained legal permission to participate in the 2027 presidential election following the results of the Paris Court of Appeal hearing.
“Elchi” reports, citing the “BFMTV” TV channel, that she will make a statement regarding her decision later.
Ahead of the court hearing, Le Pen, who was sentenced to 3 years in prison (one of which must be served wearing an electronic bracelet), had stated that she did not intend to conduct her election campaign while wearing an electronic bracelet.
