In accordance with the 2026 training plan approved by the Minister of Defense, training flights were conducted in the aviation units of the Azerbaijan Air Force.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry of Defense, the health status of the flight crew was checked, safety regulations were communicated, and then the aviation assets were inspected.
Following the training plan, practical flights were carried out with “JF-17C” (Block-III), “Su-25ML”, “Su-25”, and “L-39” type aircraft.
In the exercises, pilots performed individual and group flights to develop their skills in aerial interaction, execution of simulated combat missions and tactical maneuvers, detection and destruction of targets, as well as making correct decisions in special situations.
The training exercises, held to increase the combat readiness and professionalism of the flight crew, focused on the precise and safe execution of tasks under various meteorological and tactical conditions, as well as improving the combat application capabilities of aviation assets.
