China is already preparing for a meeting of the leaders of Russia, the US and China, and if favorable conditions arise, they will include this meeting in the program of the summit in Shenzhen (APEC).
“Elchi” reports that Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov stated this.
“Our Chinese friends, who are hosting the APEC summit, will be engaged in preparing this meeting, more precisely, they are already engaged. If favorable conditions arise, our Chinese friends will, of course, include this meeting in the program of events in Shenzhen,” he told journalists following the talks between Putin and Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff.
Speaking about the topic of trilateral negotiations, Ushakov noted that “some practical considerations were put forward from our side.”
The possibility of holding a Russia-US-China summit in Shenzhen was discussed at Putin’s meeting with Witkoff, and none of the three capitals reject this idea, Ushakov stated.
