Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Tehran.
“Elchi” reports that Pashinyan met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and exchanged views.
It should be noted that Pashinyan arrived in Tehran this morning to attend the farewell ceremony for the former Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
It should be noted that the farewell ceremony for Ali Khamenei will be held on July 4-5 at the Mosalla complex in Tehran, and the funeral procession will then head to the city of Qom.
After the farewell ceremony in Qom, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei will be laid to rest in Mashhad on July 9, in accordance with his will.
It is worth reminding that Seyyed Ali Khamenei was killed along with his close family members during a joint US and Israeli attack on Tehran on February 28.
Subsequently, his son Mojtaba Khamenei was chosen as his successor.
We should add that Ayatollah Hakim Elahi, a representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader, announced that Mojtaba Khamenei will not attend his father’s funeral.
He justified this by citing security concerns.
