Between April 21 and July 2, 2026, the electricity demand in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was fully met through renewable energy sources.
This was reported by elchi, citing the Ministry of Energy.
“During this period, a total of 118.374 million kWh of electricity was generated, with 104.486 million kWh from hydroelectric power plants (HPP) and 13.888 million kWh from solar power plants (SPP),” the statement noted.
