Another operation against the illegal drug trade has been carried out by the officers of the Sabunchu District Police Department.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 32-year-old Elsevar Miraliyev and 23-year-old Vahid Karimov, suspected of drug couriering, were detained during the operation.
A total of more than 19 kilograms of marijuana was discovered in their possession. Investigations revealed that the detained individuals planned to organize the illegal distribution of drugs by delivering them to various addresses within the capital.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. By the court’s decision, a preventive measure of arrest has been chosen for the detained individuals.
It should be noted that during the operations carried out by the officers of the Sabunchu District Police Department since the beginning of the current year, a total of 195 kilograms of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances have been removed from illegal circulation.
