The fifth annual “Global Passport Index” (GPI) prepared by “Global Citizen Solutions” has been published. European countries continue to dominate the list.
“Elchi” reports citing oxu.az that the global passport index evaluates not only visa-free travel opportunities but also indicators such as investment attractiveness and quality of life.
According to the ranking, nine of the world’s 10 most powerful passports belong to European countries. The only non-European state to make it into the top ten is Singapore, which ranks 10th.
Sweden leads this year’s ranking. Switzerland holds the second position, and Finland is in third place. Germany is ranked fourth. The top five is rounded out by the Netherlands and Denmark, which share fifth place.
It should be noted that Ireland, Great Britain, Norway, and Singapore have also been included in the list of the world’s top 10 most powerful passports.
