The Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), Vugar Suleymanov, discussed cooperation in combating the mine threat with the Ambassador of Israel to Baku, Ronen Kraus.

It was stated that during the meeting, the ambassador was informed about the scale of the existing mine problem in Azerbaijan and the progress of humanitarian demining activities carried out to address this problem.
Furthermore, discussions were held on the possibilities of Israeli support for Azerbaijan’s mine threat combating activities, cooperation prospects, the application of advanced technologies and innovative solutions in the demining process, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
