Since the date of its commissioning, a total of 99.6 billion cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas has been transported via the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP).
According to elchi, this was reported with reference to the Ministry of Energy.
According to the information, 39.6 billion cubic meters of the mentioned volume were exported to Turkey.
It is reported that today marks 8 years since the start of commercial gas transportation from Azerbaijan to Turkey via TANAP within the framework of the “Shah Deniz-2” project.
“TANAP, which is an important part of the Southern Gas Corridor, is considered an indispensable infrastructure project in ensuring energy security,” the statement notes.
