Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva familiarized themselves with the conditions created at the sports club.

It was noted that the new sports club was established as part of efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle, expand sports infrastructure, and increase leisure opportunities in the Seaside National Park. Presentation of the “WasteShark” floating water cleaning device

Later, as part of measures taken to improve the ecological condition of the part of the Baku Bay falling within the Seaside National Park area and to ensure the cleanliness of the water basin, an innovative “WasteShark” floating water cleaning device was presented. During the presentation, Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva were shown the technical capabilities of the device. It was stated that, against the backdrop of falling water levels in the Caspian Sea in recent years, the device is equipped with advanced technological solutions that allow for the agile collection of floating waste, biomass, and various pollutants in coastal areas, shallow waters, and closed water basins.

The remotely controlled device, equipped with special sensors and cameras and possessing agile movement capabilities, collects waste, organic residues, and pollutants on the water surface. Operating efficiently, especially in areas with limited accessibility, the “WasteShark” is intended to expand the capabilities of ecological monitoring and cleaning measures.

It is planned to apply the device in local cleaning works at the initial stage, and based on the results obtained, to apply it in a wider area of the Baku Bay and in various usage formats.

It should be noted that the project was implemented on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union.

Presentation of electric-powered carriages

Afterward, a new project offering visitors a different opportunity for recreation and walking in the Baku Boulevard area – electric-powered carriages – was presented.

First, Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva were informed about the new project. It was noted that these modern vehicles with a historical appearance, inspired by the carriage traditions of Baku, offer environmentally friendly, quiet, and comfortable rides along a special route in the boulevard area. It was noted that the use of electric-powered carriages is one of the steps taken towards promoting modern, ecological, and sustainable urban environment principles. Then, a ride along the boulevard with the electric-powered carriages was organized for the guests.

During the opening and presentation ceremonies, Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva met with city residents and took photos with them.
