European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will visit Azerbaijan and Armenia on July 1-2.
“Elchi” reports that European Commission representative Paula Pinyu stated this at a briefing in Brussels.
According to her, the purpose of the visit is to “express Europe’s support.”
“The head of the European Commission will discuss the peaceful settlement process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and EU investments in their transport infrastructure to turn these countries into a ‘corridor from Central Asia to Europe’,” the EU official noted.
