The concept of “military personnel identification tag” has been introduced into the legislation.
According to the news from “Elchi”, this is reflected in the amendment to the Law “On Military Duty and Military Service” approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the law, a personal identification tag is a badge used to identify military personnel who have died, passed away, or sustained injuries (wounds, trauma, contusion), which contains their individual identification number and blood type. Military personnel are provided with personal identification tags by the state bodies (entities included in the structure of the state body) where they serve. The provision of personal identification tags to military personnel, as well as the description, characteristics, and the procedure for maintaining records of the personal identification tag, are determined by the body (entity) defined by the relevant executive authority.
