The Chamber of Deputies of Romania has approved a legislative document on unification with Moldova without a vote.
According to “Elchi”, the legislative initiative submitted to the lower house of parliament by deputies of the country’s ultra-right “S.O.S. Romania” party was considered automatically approved after a 45-day period, as parliament did not initiate a debate or a final vote.
The draft on unification with Moldova has subsequently been submitted to the Senate.
