“Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC, one of the AZCON Holding companies, is participating with a special stand in the international exhibition for “Logistics, Mobility, IT and Supply Chain Management” (“Transport Logistic China 2026”), held in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, from June 24 to 26, 2026.
“Elchi” reports that ADY representatives are presenting Azerbaijan’s international transport and logistics potential at the exhibition, particularly the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor), the North-South International Transport Corridor, and other strategic transport routes in the region. They are also holding meetings with shippers, logistics operators, freight forwarders, and investors from China and other countries, discussing new cooperation opportunities, and negotiating with potential business partners.
ADY management became acquainted with the exhibition’s activities, and within the framework of the event, ADY Chairman Rovshan Rustamov held meetings with the management of “Interrail Holding AG” and “METRANS,” the operator of the Port of Hamburg in Germany.
The meetings focused on expanding cargo transportation along international transport corridors passing through Azerbaijan, developing routes in the China–Europe–China direction, forming new logistics services along the Middle Corridor, expanding the connections of the Port of Baku with European ports and intermodal terminal networks, strengthening operational coordination, and developing more flexible logistics solutions for cargo owners.
It should be noted that “Transport Logistic China,” considered one of the most influential events in Asia in the field of logistics, transport, and supply chain management, has brought together more than 1,000 companies from nearly 50 countries and regions of the world this year. Within the framework of the event, leading companies operating in the fields of logistics, rail, sea and air transport, multimodal solutions, digital technologies, and supply chain management are showcasing their capabilities.
