The Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has appealed to pedestrians.
“Elchi” reports that the appeal states that the incidents that have occurred once again demonstrate how dangerous it is to ignore pedestrian crossings and cross the road on the carriageway: “To prevent such incidents and to reach your destination comfortably and safely, you must use pedestrian crossings. We also appeal to drivers to keep their attention on the road and the speed limit. In this way, especially on multi-lane roads, you will be able to take timely safety measures to prevent accidents when you see pedestrians trying to cross the road without following the rules.”
