The social media accounts of Armenians entering Russia should be checked to determine whether they support Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
elchi reports that this was stated by Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of RT and the Rossiya Segodnya media group.
Simonyan noted that Armenian citizens who voted for Pashinyan in the last elections should be banned from entering Russia:
“I suggest identifying them through social networks. It is very easy to do this now. Border guards are doing this easily and simply at the border. Both here and in Georgia. Try to go to Georgia; if you have a position on Abkhazia and Ossetia, they won’t let you in, right? Use social media to identify Armenians who support Pashinyan and ban their entry into the Russian Federation. Once and for all. Because if you support Pashinyan, it means you support Russophobia. If you support Russophobia, it means you hate Russia.”
