The second round of Group G in the 2026 World Cup has concluded.
“Elchi” reports that in the final match of the round, the New Zealand national team faced Egypt.
The match started at 04:00 Baku time.
In the 15th minute, New Zealand opened the scoring. Surman’s goal determined the score of the first half: 1:0.
In the second half, Egypt managed to make a comeback. Zizo, Salah, and Trezeguet scored in succession. The match ended with a victory for the African representative: 3:1.
In the other match of Group G, the national teams of Belgium and Iran played to a goalless draw.
