The agreement between the US and Iran provides for the immediate resumption of Iranian oil exports.
“Elchi” reports, citing The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), that sources familiar with the terms of the agreement have stated this.
According to them, the US will allow Iran to start selling oil and fuel immediately, which will serve as a financial incentive for Tehran to end the conflict sooner.
The publication noted that the agreement also includes the easing of banking and transport restrictions, which should facilitate international transactions and be one of the first noticeable economic impacts.
The regulations regarding the lifting of sanctions on oil sales will come into effect immediately after the agreement is signed this week.
Earlier, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that an agreement had been reached between the US and Iran. According to him, the document is planned to be signed in Switzerland on June 19, and the parties have already agreed to cease military operations.
