President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of the Philippines, Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos.

“Dear Mr. President,
On the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of the Philippines – Independence Day, I extend my most sincere congratulations to you and, through you, to all your people on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
I believe that we will continue our joint efforts towards the development and expansion of friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and the Philippines in line with the interests of our peoples.
On this pleasant day, I wish you robust health and happiness, and the friendly people of the Philippines peace and prosperity.”
