elchi reports, citing the US Department of State, that Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated this while addressing the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs.
According to him, the overall activities of the State Department over the last 16-17 months have been characterized by a combination of significant successes and ongoing complex international challenges.
“The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has ended. Moreover, it concluded with a memorandum that I signed, which creates a new route of prosperity – TRIPP – that will provide significant opportunities for both countries,” he said.
Rubio also recalled that the US has been involved in resolving a number of conflicts, including tensions between India and Pakistan, where it was possible to prevent a large-scale war between nuclear states. He also noted the role of the US in settling conflicts between Thailand and Cambodia, and stated that the war in Gaza has ended and all remaining hostages have been released.
It should be recalled that on May 26, a framework agreement on strategic partnership was signed between Armenia and the US within the framework of the TRIPP project.
