Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov expressed his gratitude to the CIS countries for their active participation in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku.
“Elchi” reports with reference to Report that he stated this today at the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS in Ashgabat.
“I would like to note that today the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, one of the largest international platforms dedicated to issues of sustainable development, urbanization, and improving the quality of life, is concluding in Baku,” the Prime Minister said.
According to him, the forum, held under the auspices of the UN, brought together a record number of participants – more than 40,000 from 182 countries – to discuss urgent challenges, including the global housing crisis, sustainable urban development, climate resilience, and post-crisis recovery.
“Taking this opportunity, I would like to express my gratitude to the representatives of the CIS member states for their active participation in the work of the World Urban Forum,” he noted.
