A drill was held in a multi-story residential complex located in Khachmaz city, initiated by the State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and with the participation of the State Fire Protection Service.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry, the drill was conducted with a simulated fire alarm to assess the ability of fire equipment to approach the residential building and the water reservoir, as well as to evaluate the overall operational conditions regarding fire safety in the area.
During the drill, it was determined that the movement of fire trucks in part of the residential complex’s courtyard was restricted due to the irregular parking of private vehicles in certain areas. In addition, a number of shortcomings in the field of fire safety were discovered in the complex, including the lack of primary fire extinguishing equipment and the failure to install a fire alarm system.
Verbal and written instructions were given to those responsible for the building’s fire safety regarding the elimination of the noted shortcomings. At the same time, awareness-raising conversations were held with the residents of the residential building about ensuring fire safety. It was noted that during fires and other emergency situations, for the unimpeded entry of special-purpose vehicles into the courtyards of buildings, their rapid deployment, effective conduct of operations, as well as easy use of water reservoirs and hydrants, cars must be parked only in designated places, maintaining distance from each other, and ensuring the possibility of free passage for other vehicles.
