elchi reports that Tarlan Safarov, head of the Baku Regional Department of AYNA, said this at an event dedicated to the Master Plan of Baku city held within the framework of WUF13.
He stated that 2,300 buses are put into operation every day, and approximately 5 million users use them: “Today, network expansion is developing. We are also developing intra-metro systems. We have 10 new strategies to increase intra-city accessibility. We are implementing the red and green lines in the metro. Possible conditions for tram lines are being considered, and we are working to have them in use by 2028.”
