It has been reported that a 5.9-magnitude earthquake occurred off the southwestern coast of Japan.
elchi reports that the US Geological Survey announced the epicenter of the earthquake was 8 kilometers east of Wadomari in Japan’s Kagoshima Prefecture.
The 5.9-magnitude earthquake was recorded at a depth of approximately 42 kilometers.
According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties or damage, and no tsunami warning was issued.
