Emin Amrullayev held a series of meetings at the World Education Forum

Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, who is on a business trip to London to participate in the World Education Forum, has held a series of meetings.

Information about this was provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Science and Education.

It was noted in the report that during the meeting with the Minister of Education and Technical Education of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mohamed Abdel Latif, the parties exchanged views on prospects for cooperation in the field of education, exchange of experience, and future joint initiatives. At the same time, the importance of expanding existing relations was noted.

During the meeting between Emin Amrullayev and his Serbian counterpart Dejan Vuk Stanković, current cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and future development prospects were discussed.

In addition, Emin Amrullayev met with representatives of global technology companies “Microsoft” and “Google”.

During the bilateral meeting with Dina Qobashi, Global Director of Education at “Microsoft”, cooperation opportunities in the areas of digital transformation in education, integration of artificial intelligence solutions into the teaching process, development of teachers’ digital skills, and the application of innovative technologies were discussed. The parties also touched upon the initiatives implemented by “Microsoft” in Azerbaijan. The importance of expanding the capabilities applied by the company in the “Digital School” was noted.

At the meeting with Colin Marson, Regional Director for “Google for Education” at “Google”, discussions were held on the development of a digital ecosystem in schools, the application of cloud technologies in educational institutions, the expansion of the use of innovative online tools for teachers and students, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence-based solutions into the teaching process.
Also, the projects implemented by “Google” in the field of education in Azerbaijan were highlighted. It was stated that the “Google for Education” tools applied in the “Digital School” have contributed to expanding teaching opportunities in a number of educational institutions.

It should be noted that the World Education Forum, held on May 17-20, is dedicated to the theme “Education for a shared future: peace, planet, purpose and pathways to development”.
