Iran is ready for both diplomacy and defending the country.
“Elchi” reports, citing ISNA, that Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated this.
“Iran still welcomes the path of diplomacy, but the demands put forward in the negotiations must be realistic. The readiness to defend the country and enter into war is no less than the readiness for negotiations,” he said.
According to the deputy minister, Iran’s response to the US position on the seven-day ceasefire plan is still under review:
“After it is finalized, it will be communicated to the other side through mediators.”
