Iran’s Foreign Ministry (MFA) has condemned the UK’s accusations against Tehran.
“Elchi” reports, citing IRIB, that this was stated in a statement by the Iranian MFA.
“We strongly condemn the claims by British officials attributing the alleged security incident at RAF Fairford airbase to Iran and consider it a dirty scheme to advance the anti-Iranian campaign and evade responsibility for London’s participation in the US-Israeli military aggression against the Iranian people,” the statement noted.
It is recalled that Iran’s Ambassador to the UK, Seyed Ali Mousavi, in a meeting with the UK Minister of State for the Middle East, Stephen Douaty, denied any connection of his country with the incident that occurred around the RAF Fairford airbase.
