As a result of border search and operational measures carried out in the service area of the “Horadiz” border detachment of the State Border Service’s Border Troops Command, the smuggling of a total of 11 kilograms and 985 grams of narcotic substances (7 kg 885 grams of heroin, 4 kg 100 grams of methamphetamine) and 20 psychotropic Metadon M-40 tablets from Iran into the territory of Azerbaijan was prevented.
Operational-investigative measures regarding the incident are ongoing.
