The President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, will pay an official visit to Turkey tomorrow.
elchi reports that this was announced by the Communications Director of the Turkish Presidency, Burhanettin Duran, on his “X” social media account.
He stated that Abdelmadjid Tebboune will be on an official visit to Turkey from May 6-8 at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Within the framework of the visit, the first meeting of the Turkey-Algeria High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will be held in Ankara on May 7.
“At the Council meeting, which will be attended by the relevant ministers of both countries, relations with friendly and brotherly Algeria will be evaluated in every aspect, and steps that can be taken to further develop bilateral cooperation will be discussed. Current regional and international developments will also be reviewed at the meetings,” the statement noted.
In addition, it is expected that the legal basis of bilateral relations will be strengthened and various agreements will be signed during the visit.
