The issue regarding the European Parliament’s anti-Azerbaijani activities has been brought up for discussion in the Milli Majlis.
Speaker Sahiba Gafarova stated that the Milli Majlis was forced to suspend relations due to biased documents adopted by the European Parliament, and a decision to restore relations was made in September 2016 following the European Parliament’s efforts.
“Unfortunately, the past 10 years have shown that the European Parliament has no intention of abandoning its biased activities against Azerbaijan. The restoration of our territorial integrity has further intensified the European Parliament’s activities against Azerbaijan. All of this reveals the actual parameters upon which that institution operates,” the speaker noted.
