The World Bank (WB) has updated its price forecast for rice for the years 2026-2027.

According to the report, the price of 1 ton of rice in 2026 will be 401 US dollars. This is the same as the forecast provided in October of last year.
According to the WB’s forecast, the price of 1 ton of rice in 2027 will be 413 US dollars, which is 4 US dollars more than the forecast provided in October.
According to the bank’s forecast, compared to the previous year, the price of rice will decrease by 1.7% in 2026 and increase by 3% in 2027.
According to the report, the price of 1 ton of rice in 2025 was 408 US dollars.
