The Netherlands supports the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
elchi reports that the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Marian de Jong, stated this at a press conference today.
She said that the peace process would pave the way for trade, connectivity, and development.
The Ambassador also highly appreciated Azerbaijan’s support for Ukraine.
“Azerbaijan’s constructive efforts to promote stability are acknowledged,” the Ambassador noted.
The diplomat emphasized that trade between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands increased to nearly half a billion last year and that there are great opportunities for the development of cooperation in the fields of water, agriculture, and connectivity.
Marian de Jong stated that cooperation between the Netherlands and Azerbaijan in the field of justice is also strengthening.
The Ambassador noted that she is optimistic about the future of bilateral relations between the countries.
